I was thinking that there must be a hell of a lot of unemployed or dissatisfied Architectural Designers and Architecture Graduates out there at the moment, wanting to earn some pocket money doing drawings or planning applications for friends and family.
So my idea was to start a network which brings together the skills of this talent pool, offering a service that fits in between getting a builder to design your extension, and employing an expensive Architects practice. Using our best assets, design talent and being inexpensive, the network would offer design, visualization, and planning application services for private and small commercial projects.
Initially I would build up a small portfolio of friends ‘n family projects then launch a website. I’ve initially registered www.independentplans.co.uk
